We came out of the UofA’s business accelerator program in 2022 and have received a substantial amount of support from investors and the university community. We have experienced rapid growth and are actively hiring to meet increasing demand.


Position: Executive Assistant & Grant Writer

We’re looking for a strong communicator and highly organized individual to support both our executive team and our external growth efforts through grant writing. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our CEO while also helping secure critical grant funding that supports our mission.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys being at the center of operations while also making an impact through written communication and research.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the CEO and executive team with scheduling, emails, and meeting coordination

  • Taking notes during meetings and organizing follow-ups

  • Researching and writing clear, compelling grant applications

  • Managing deadlines and supporting documentation for grant submissions

  • Assisting with day-to-day operations and special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in EA or grant writing

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written communication and research abilities

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Professional, adaptable, and proactive in solving problems


Compensation:

This is a salaried, full-time position with compensation dependent on experience and qualifications.

Additional benefits include flexible hours, paid travel, and potential for performance-based bonuses.
